I am an emerging scholar and -artist in conceptual, interdisciplinary and intermedia art, which includes the mediums of sculpture, painting, installation and new media.

I completed my BA in Fine Arts at the University of the Free State in 2014, focusing on the notion of research as art and art as research.

I am currently enrolled for a Masters in Fine Arts at the University of the Free State, and lecturing as part-time junior lecturer in the same department, whereby my research, art practise and teaching feed into one another. The title of my dissertation is Curious South African social imaginaries: place, desire, design. My research rests on the central question: How does the migration and clashing of images reveal social imaginaries in a South Africa in the process of decolonization or coming of age?
